A little personal information
I have been an artist all my life and enjoy drawing and painting as much now as I did as a child.
I began rock climbing at age 14 and have spent over 30 years involved in that sport. I enjoy all aspects of climbing from mountaineering to ice climbing to bouldering. My experience in this sport has allowed me to do many technical drawings, illustrations, maps and other art relating to the sport. I have traveled and climbed all over the United States and in Europe.
I enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, fly fishing and fly tying. I have also had the joy of doing art work relating to these fun sports.
I played my first round of disc golf in 1978 in San Diego California and over the years I played occasionally here-and-there. In about 2002 I was re-introduced to the sport by some friends. I was amazed by the new disc technology and found new enthusiasm in the sport. In 2004 I joined the Professional Disc Golf Association and began playing PDGA tournaments as an amateur. I played in amateur divisions for several years and in 2008 moved up to play Professional Grand Master division. I am looking forward to the 2010 PDGA disc golf tournament season.
